The organisers of the Budleigh Food festival are appealing for old fashioned rotary hand whisks to help make puddings for the children’s activities on Mothering Sunday. “It would be wonderful if we could get enough of these whisks so that the children can make puddings with Georgie Porgie”, said Trudie Burne festival Co-ordinator. “The children’s activities are on for the whole weekend with a range of craft and fun activities for children of all ages. Making puddings will be a really fun activity, hands on and messy, but to make it happen we need 10 rotary hand whisks like the one in the photograph.”
Anyone with a spare whisk they would like to donate or lend, can drop it into Robin at Bradleys on the High Street who will pass it onto the festival organisers and it will be put to good use, you might even see it in use on the day! Thank you!
